    Clickers Discontinued May 1

Effective May 1 you will not be able to use your clickers to enter the front and back gates. On that date the new gate access system goes into full operation.

The clickers are replaced by the new headlight tags and you will still be able to use proximity cards and personal access codes.

As well, the front gate will be staffed from 7 am to 11 pm daily, until further notice.

The following is a summary of gate access methods that will be available starting May 1:

    New Gate Access Methods

    RFID Headlight Tag
The RFID tag is placed on the driver’s side vehicle headlight. As you approach the front homeowner entry lane or back gate, the reader validates the tag and the gate opens.

    Owner Action Required:
Headlight tags are available from the DRM office where they will be installed on the vehicle. The first headlight tag is free. Additional tags are $25 each.

    RFID Hang Tag
This is a portable version of the headlight tag that can be used by cyclists or those who don’t want to put a tag on their headlights. Hang tags are on order. They will be available from DRM for $25 each.

    Kiosk Telephone Directory
    1. Tap the Directory icon on the kiosk which will bring up the directory.
    2. Type a few letters of the last name of the person you are calling.
    3.  Select the name on the screen and the call will be initiated.

The person receiving the call will get a message to press 1 to connect and then will press 9 to open the gate.

Keep in mind that the call from the kiosk will come from 972-231-1999 so you may want to add this number to your contacts list so that you recognize it.

In addition, if your mobile number is in the kiosk directory, you can call your own name to grant yourself access.

    Owner Action Required:
Many of the phone numbers in the kiosk directory are out of date. Contact DRM to verify your phone numbers (maximum of two per property address). Changes or additions are $15 each.

    Other Kiosk Access Methods

    Personal Access Code
These entry codes are issued to owners and vendors by DRM and can be used at the kiosk to enter the front or back gate.

    Owner Action Required:
Contact DRM if you don’t know your code. There is a $15 charge for new codes.

    Proximity Card
The proximity cards have been in use for several years. They are the size of a credit card and will open the gates if you place the card near the reader on the kiosk.

    Owner Action Required:
Proximity cards are on order. They will be available from DRM for $15 each.
All existing proximity cards must be registered with DRM or else they will not work.
