Now that we have presented information on the workings of our operations budget and reserve fund, it’s time to discuss the future. Our recent budgets have been structured around specific services and amenities. If we make no changes to our current expectations we can anticipate our future budgets to continue rising to meet escalating costs.
The Communications Committee is looking for a new website administrator.
The administrator is responsible for ensuring the Silver Sands website is functioning properly and is kept up to date technically. The administrator also works with committee members to ensure the content is regularly updated and assists with preparing and distributing emails to the Silver Sands community.
The position requires some experience working with one or more content management systems, such as Joomla, Drupal or Wordpress. The Silver Sands website uses Joomla so experience with this would be helpful. Some competence in programming languages such as HTML and CSS would be an asset. Lots of support and assistance will be provided to ensure a smooth transition.

Court 2 (Pickleball) and Court 4 will be unavailable for use beginning Tuesday June 27 until completion of resurfacing work.
Please refrain from entering the court areas during this period as foot traffic could damage the uncured finish.
Tennis Committee
This is the first in a series of articles planned for the summer to help owners understand how our HOA finances work and the budget challenges we are facing. This edition explains the Operating Fund while the next one will explain the Reserve Fund. Future topics will explain the Board’s options for setting us on a long-term path of financial stability.
We encourage you to read this information carefully and send your questions or comments. We’ll respond to your feedback in later editions of this series. A survey of owners will take place in early fall to get feedback about options to ensure a strong and stable financial future.
