The Tennis Committee has been informed that the tennis professional who was teaching at Silver Sands on Tuesday, December 28 has tested positive for COVID-19.

He will be in quarantine for 10 days until he tests negative.

There will be no pro available on January 2, 2022.

Welcome Back Tennis Players. We are hoping to see everyone back for a normal season of fun and great play on our wonderful courts. We are bringing back some of our favorite events and adding a few new ones. Check out the list below for an outline of what is happening on the courts this season:

Tuesday Morning Men’s Competitive Social
9:30 to 11:00 am
Consider giving up your weekly pre-organized game for this event. Let’s mix things up and help integrate new players into the Silver Sands Family. Every effort will be made to match player pairings to comparable skill levels. Sign up on the booking system five days before at 5 pm.

Thursday Morning Women’s Competitive Social
9:30 to 11:00 am
Consider giving up your weekly pre-organized game for this event. Let’s mix things up and help integrate some new players into the Silver Sands Family. Every effort will be made to match player pairings to comparable skill levels. Sign up on the booking system five days before at 5 pm.

Thursday Afternoon Drop-in Tennis.
5:00 to 6:30 pm
Mixed. All levels welcome.

Friday Morning Free Clinic with the Pro
8:00 to 9:00 am (alternating weekly between Men and Women and levels)
Check the booking system for your appropriate day and sign up on the system. Eight-person limit.

Saturday Morning Drop-in Tennis.
9:30 to 11:00 am
Mixed. All levels welcome.
