The board is pleased to announce that California has lifted most COVID restrictions allowing for the clubhouse, pool areas and gym to open to normal capacity. Therefore, we are lifting capacity limitations and social distancing for the common area facilities (pools/spas, clubhouse, and gym).
 
Individuals who are fully vaccinated may use the common area facilities without a mask and are attesting to the fact that they are fully vaccinated.
 
Masks are required for non-vaccinated individuals who wish to use the indoor common area facilities.
 
Please continue to bring your own sanitizer to clean pool furniture.
 
Please continue to sanitize gym equipment before and after use.
 
Reservations for the gym will still be available through TownSq.
 
As always, please do not use the pool or gym facilities if you are experiencing symptoms of illness.

A quick reminder to follow the posted rules and please lay towels down on pool furniture BEFORE use to prevent damage. This is very important, especially when using sun screen or tanning lotion, as these products stain the furniture and cause the straps to turn black and fail.  When this happens the furniture cannot be cleaned and must be repaired. In recent months our expenses to repair pool furniture for these defects have been increasing. These costly repairs can be avoided if we all follow the rules posted at each pool.

The temporary suspension of tennis guests at Silver Sands has been rescinded. Since Riverside County remains in the "purple" tier, masks and social distancing guidelines are still in effect when not playing.

We have had several reports of individuals not receiving meeting notices from Desert Resort Management (DRM) recently. If you have not been receiving emails regarding community meetings, please contact Sierra Carr or Estephany Vasquez at DRM.  They can help resolve the problem.

There has been a homeowner report of coyotes inside the community recently. While they may be seen during the day they are more likely to be in the neighborhood from early evening to early morning.  These animals can be a danger to small pets so be extra careful when your pet is outdoors.
