Come on out and join all your Silver Sands neighbors, See old friends separated for a year and meet some new neighbors.

SIGN UP DEADLINE NOVEMBER 10

As part of the Vision 2025 infrastructure project, three pools will be renovated over the next five months. Each renovation will take approximately 10 weeks. Work on pool 10 is underway and is expected to be completed in mid November.

Pool 5 is scheduled for mid-November (no work over the Christmas holidays) and pool 6 will start in mid to late January. More precise construction starting dates will be provided when they become available.

Residents who live close to the affected pools should be prepared for a considerable amount of construction noise and dust.

Renovations to Pool 5 are expected to begin on Oct. 25 or 26 and will continue for approximately 10 weeks.

There will be a considerable amount of construction noise and dust, especially during the grinding phase of reconstruction. Residents living close to the pool are advised to keep their windows and doors closed during this phase.

Please continue to use the reservation system on TownSq to reserve a time for the fitness center. It has been reported that some residents are using the fitness center without reservations. The reservation system is in place to help maintain capacity of the facility as we navigate through the pandemic.

A quick reminder to follow the posted rules and please lay towels down on pool furniture BEFORE use to prevent damage. This is very important, especially when using sun screen or tanning lotion, as these products stain the furniture and cause the straps to turn black and fail.  When this happens the furniture cannot be cleaned and must be repaired. In recent months our expenses to repair pool furniture for these defects have been increasing. These costly repairs can be avoided if we all follow the rules posted at each pool.
